LE SSERAFIM’s Kazuha Opens Up About What Sakura Means To Her

She confessed to her unnie!

Sakura and Kazuha are the two Japanese members of LE SSERAFIM, a five-member girl group formed by Source Music and HYBE Corporation. Despite being a few years apart in age, sharing the same home country gave enough common ground for the pair to start a beautiful friendship and unique bond.

Since Kazuha could not spend much time learning Korean before their debut, she relied heavily on Sakura to help her communicate with their other members and staff. Having been an idol for over a decade, Sakura served as a guide to Kazuha, who was only a trainee for three months before joining LE SSERAFIM.

Kazuha shared what Sakura meant to her as a friend and unnie (the Korean word women use for older female friends) when she was a guest on Sakura’s YouTube variety series, Fearless Kkura. She said, “She has a lot of experience, and when I don’t know what to do, I look at her, and she guides me.

Kazuha finished her message to Sakura with an adorable request, “Kura-unnie! Thank you for adoring and taking good care of us. I love Kura-unnie so much, so please (give) us some Lunar New Year allowance money! If you do, we promise we’ll use it for good. I love you!

Sakura sent a heartfelt message back to her, “Zuha, are you watching? This is kind of embarrassing, but I’m happy because I feel like we’ve become a lot closer. I hope we get along like best friends. Let’s leave our rooms when we’re in the dorm and have dinner together.

Their two friends couldn’t meet each other’s eyes, but Kazuha smiled as she promised to have dinner with her lovely unnie.
