LE SSERAFIM Has One Habit While Monitoring Their Performances That All Groups Could Learn From

It helps them work harder.

When filming a music video or performance, K-Pop idols have made it a habit to monitor themselves in between takes. It gives them the opportunity to see what they should change or decide if everything went smoothly. Because of their careful eye, fans are always treated to the best videos!

But the way they react while assessing themselves isn’t always the same. In a past interview with Allure, LE SSERAFIM‘s Chaewon dished on how she and her members really react when monitoring their performances—and it’s something many groups can learn from if they don’t already do it.

According to the group leader, they enjoy praising each other while they review their work. They are very vocal with their compliments, saying encouraging words like, “We nailed that” and “We slayed.”

When we are monitoring and reviewing our work and performances, we sometimes compliment or praise ourselves — ‘oh, we nailed that,’ or ‘oh, we slayed.’

The reason why they do this is because they are happy that there are instances where they can be proud of themselves. In Chaewon’s experience, it motivates them to work harder and continue to put out quality work. It’s one reason why LE SSERAFIM is always at the top of their game!

I’m really proud that there are more moments for us to be proud of ourselves; it makes us feel more determined to work harder as well.
