LE SSERAFIM’s Sakura Shares A Surprising Common Enemy With League Of Legends Esports Pro Deft
Long-time fans of LE SSERAFIM’s Sakura know that she’s a massive fan of video games, and there was even a time when she regularly uploaded gameplay videos on YouTube.
Perhaps the game Sakura is most known for enjoying is the world-famous MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) League of Legends. Also commonly referred to as League or LoL, the game is insanely popular in South Korea, boasting the most world championships with a whopping seven titles!
Esports professional Kim Hyuk Kyu, also known by his in-game username Deft, was part of the latest South Korean team to win the crown in 2022. He joined Sakura on her YouTube series Fearless Kkura to challenge her to a series of mini-games.
Some may think that the two made an odd pair, but they were surprisingly able to find a common enemy while coming up with penalties for the loser of the challenge.
The staff of Fearless Kkura pointed out that both Deft and Sakura had a deep dislike for mint chocolate! After the flavor was brought up, Deft said, “I’d rather eat toothpaste,” which was a sentiment Sakura agreed with.
FEARNOT, LE SSERAFIM’s official fandom, knows that Sakura has been a vocal hater of mint chocolate long before she debuted with the group, and she’s had arguments with her fellow members about how it tastes. Watching Sakura find another ally for her side in the most unexpected place was hilarious!
