Momoland’s Yeonwoo Makes Shocking Reveal That She Has Made No Money Since Her Debut

Despite the success of “BBoom BBoom”, they still haven’t made any money.

On February 28, SBS revealed that Momoland‘s Yeonwoo will be appearing on their upcoming episode of Village Survival, the Eight Season 2, which will be broadcasted on March 1.

When Yoo Jae Suk asked Yeonwoo, “If you win 10 million won, what would you do with it?” Yeonwoo replied with a shocking response.

Yeonwoo caught everyone off guard by revealing, “If I win 10 million won, that’ll be my first paycheck. I would buy food that’s over my current food budget.

That means Momoland, which even gained popularity overseas with their song, “BBoom BBoom”, has yet to get paid by their agency.

Momoland debuted back in 2016 with their debut album, “Welcome to MOMOLAND”, and started to gain popularity with their 2018 album, “GREAT!” The title song, “BBoom BBoom” took off and became the driving force of their Japanese activities.

With how much they’ve succeeded so far, it’s shocking that they have yet to receive a cent to put in their own pocket.

But it’s also been revealed in the past that a substantial amount of money is put into making an idol group. As a result, it takes a great deal of time and success to pay off their debts and start making some real cash.

Here’s hoping that Momoland will get paid soon!
