NCT‘s Taeyong, Jeno, YangYang and Hendery are the latest members to feature in THE NCT SHOW‘s segment, Music Space. They came on to discuss their hit “ZOO,” which went viral thanks to the amazing choreography and charismatic performance of the NCT members and aespa‘s Giselle.
While they discussed many different aspects of the song and its performance, one notable discussion they had was over their warm-up methods before rapping, which each turned out to be rather unique. Hendery revealed that he doesn’t actually do any warm-ups before rapping…
…but while Taeyong confessed he doesn’t either, he did mention that there is something that makes his voice sound extra good when he raps. According to Taeyong, the directors at SM Entertainment would always tell him he sounds good after waking up…
…so he decided to simply avoid talking before he has to rap.
YangYang’s method for sounding sexy in his rap was even more unexpected: he eats the spiciest food he can find the day before a recording. In fact, he made the members laugh when he revealed that he’d actually eaten spicy ramen the day before recording “ZOO.”
And while Jeno’s method is not as unconventional as YangYang’s, it still proved to be unique. Before recording, Jeno says he basically likes to scream as loud as he can.
Each member is amazingly talented, so it’s fun to see all the unique ways in which they choose to bring out their best. Eating spicy ramen sure is a fun method to sound sexy though!
