Netizens Uncover The Luxurious Way BLACKPINK’s Jennie Celebrated Her Birthday
BLACKPINK‘s Jennie recently celebrated her 27th birthday, and of course, the lovable member had multiple celebrations fit for a queen!
BLACKPINK is currently on the Asia leg of their BORN PINK world tour after completing highly successful runs in Europe and North America. So far, the group has performed in Thailand and Hong Kong before their latest show in Saudi Arabia.
The group played three back-to-back shows in Hong Kong, and their last show was on January 15, the day before Jennie’s birthday.
To celebrate, Jennie was surprised with a gorgeous birthday cake while fans and her fellow members sang “Happy Birthday” to her.
Jennie showed multiple touching gifts received for her birthday, including her favorite blue roses gifted to her by her dear mom. Jennie revealed the roses, as well as other birthday celebrations in a sweet Instagram post where one photo, in particular, caught the attention of netizens.

Jennie showed off an elegant, rose-shaped cake with white frosting and a dusting of gold glitter.
The gorgeous cake was impressively tracked down by investigative netizens, who found the cake at the prestigious and luxurious Shilla Hotel in Seoul.
From the place settings, it appears that Jennie may have dined at The Shilla’s Japanese restaurant, Ariake, which offers dinner courses beginning at ₩160,000 KRW (about $130 USD) as well as a la carte options.
The five-star hotel offers multiple high-end restaurants as well as an on-site bakery.
For the month of January, the bakery featured a special cake for a limited time. The raspberry-flavored, rose-shaped “Alluring Winter” cake was covered in white chocolate ganache and was meant to represent a winter flower.
What really caught netizens’ attention was the price tag. The cake cost a staggering ₩250,000 KRW (about $203 USD)!
While that may be a high price tag to some, it was surely a priceless experience for Jennie’s special day!
