She detailed the whole experience, including recording at HYBE.

From being mentioned by popular idols like BTS‘s Jungkook and Stray Kids, singer-songwriter Seori has a voice that’s appreciated by many. She recently appeared on Eric Nam‘s podcast Daebak Show and spoke about her experience collaborating with TXT and visiting the HYBE building.

Asking what many people have wondered, Eric Nam asked how Seori was able to feature on TXT’s song “0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You)”. She revealed that she hadn’t reached out to them at all. Seori said, “I was contacted for that one too.

Since Seori has worked with popular artists such as GIRIBOY and MAMAMOO‘s Moonbyul, Eric Nam was impressed by how “in demand” she was.

She then revealed they sent her the song “0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You)” as soon as they contacted her. Because she’s a big fan of rock music and Avril Lavigne, Seori was excited to feature on the song, especially after hearing how well TXT sounded on the song.

It was a type of song that I like, and the vocals of TXT on it were so great. So, I really wanted to do it. That’s [how] we got started.

Though HYBE had spent less than four days at their new building, Seori was able to go and record there. She remembered the building having “that new house smell” and emphasized how “massive” it was in person.

When she recorded her vocals for the song, Seori recalled it being a smooth and positive process. They took their time monitoring her and helping her in any way she needed.

So I went, and they listened to my stuff, and they gave me feedback and [so on]. So, I really enjoyed recording it.

With how well “0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You)” was received, Seori and TXT were a perfect match for the rock-inspired song.
