Stray Kids' Seungmin Explains Why He "Dissed" J.Y. Park On Bubble

Stray Kids‘ Seungmin, Changbin, and I.N were the most recent guests on Jonathan Thona‘s TheKstarNextDoor, and they opened up about their “S-Class” promotions, their recent successes, and their hilarious relationship with JYP Entertainment‘s founder, J.Y. Park.

They began by revealing their incredible accomplishments finally earned them a coveted invite to J.Y. Park’s home for dinner, which they described as a “palace.”

Changbin jokingly “exposed” that J.Y. Park had previously provided them dinner from the JYP Entertainment cafeteria, so the invite to his home was a step up.

While they’ve mentioned their love for the veteran soloist and producer in many interviews, Seungmin hilariously revealed he has a “grudge” against J.Y. Park that stemmed from a pair of glasses.

On TheKstarNextDoor, Jonathan Thona asked Seungmin about the time he “dissed” J.Y. Park on the artist-to-fan communication app Bubble.

Seungmin admitted he had posted a Bubble message to fans that “called out” J.Y. Park for “trying to act cute” on Twitter.

The members believe J.Y. Park had seen Seungmin’s message because the JYP Entertainment founder later deleted his tweet.

The possible reason Seungmin was so willing to tease J.Y. Park was revealed when Jonathan showed the three Stray Kids members a photo of Seungmin in a school uniform.

In the photo, Seungmin posed with glasses on, and he surprised Jonathan when he shared that the photo was taken after Stray Kids had debuted.

Seungmin admitted that most idols did their hair and makeup for graduation photos, but he was “too lazy,” so he skipped breakfast that morning and threw his glasses for the photo.

When he and Changbin ran into J.Y. Park at the company building later that day, the company founder only recognized Changbin.
