On October 26, BIGBANG‘s T.O.P shared on his Instagram stories the series of messages he exchanged with fellow member G-Dragon, congratulating him on his discharge.
T.O.P wrote,
Congratulations on your discharge! Free G !!!!!!!! Congrats.
G-Dragon responded with a picture of himself covering his face shyly after his discharge. He accompanied the picture with a message saying,
Thank you hyung for taking care of [me] throughout your mandatory service.
T.O.P cutely responded with a heart emoji.
On October 26, G-Dragon was officially discharged from his mandatory military service. He had enlisted on February 27, 2018 in the 3rd Infantry Division located in Gangwon, South Korea.
