In a recent interview with the Star Magazine, Weki Meki‘s Doyeon sat down and talked about everything from words she wished to share with her fellow members to her current happiness level.
But one of the more pointed questions the interviewer asked was if Doyeon has any tips for managing a social media account. Since the idol currently has 1.4 million followers on her personal Instagram account, which she frequently updates.
Doyeon first expressed that she wants to be able to upload whatever she feels like.
But because of the way social media is construed, that doesn’t feel possible.
Doyeon explains that it often feels like one bad post could bring down all the aesthetics she has worked so hard to cultivate.
But then she continues by saying that her advice isn’t so much a tip but rather a value that she applies to both her social media and her life.
The idol expresses that she always wants to maintain a work-life balance.
And she tries to represent that through her social media by posting a range of daily life content mixed with behind-the-scenes content of her schedules.
Which is a sentiment that Doyeon does an excellent job sharing, as if you simply look at her Instagram, you’ll see her posts ranging from her work and schedules.
Like her shoot for the Star Magazine.
And Weki Meki’s photoshoot for their recent album I AM ME.
To her self-promotion for the hard work she put into working with Fantagio Entertainment for her group’s recent comeback.
But she also continually updates her fans with daily life content.
Like her hobby of making pottery.
And aesthetic pictures of her food.
And aesthetic pictures of scenery she sees while traveling.
She also posts photos of the films she’s watching, serving as a recommendation for her fans.
And, of course, adorable selfies.
Doyeon simply lives her best life on Instagram, knowing that fans equally appreciate her stunning model-like shoots, her goofy side expressed in photos, and random daily updates.
Doyeon’s advice is both a great way to maintain your social media aesthetic while also taking care of yourself and living your life in a healthy, enjoyable way.
