Yuta Reveals Why NCT 127 Doesn’t Argue Or Get Into Fights

“…we never had a serious fight.” – Yuta

With ten members in NCT 127, nine currently promoting, it wouldn’t be unexpected for some of their personalities to clash and end in an argument. After all, if everyone in the world could agree on everything, it wouldn’t be as diverse as it is.

That’s not the group’s reality. By way of Yuta and his interview with Japanese magazine MEN’S NON-NO, he revealed why they don’t argue or get into any serious fights.

Although Yuta can be quiet, that doesn’t stop him from voicing his opinions. The key is doing so in a way that benefits everyone, “I make my best effort to figure out how I can make myself understood by people and how I can make my point while respecting others.” Thinking about that mindset, he was reminded of how that’s carried over into NCT 127.

Because the group has been together eight years, including the four following their debut in 2016, they’ve learned how to share their opinions without hurting anyone’s feelings. There’s no need for them to argue, “Yes, I always keep it in my mind. More than ever, we had various experiences together as a team, so we can understand each other without any arguments.” The group applies the same idea regarding fighting.

Yuta shared that the members’ deep connection and high level of respect for each other have prevented them from having any serious fights, “We are connected in that way. We sometimes have opposing opinions, but we never had a serious fight.” Since they can virtually read each other’s minds, they’ve never reached such a breaking point.

Throughout the eight years they’ve been together, NCT 127 may playfully bicker like a bunch of siblings but have never gotten into real fights. They’ve mastered the skill of communication that remains respectful yet beneficial.
