[★VIDEO] EXID’s new performance video goes viral after disaster strikes on stage

Girl group EXID has been receiving lots of praise from netizens for their impressive live vocals after the group gave an unintentional live performance at one of their events.

On February 27th, EXID gave a surprise live performance as they performed at the entrance ceremony of Seoul Vocational Training Institute. Normally, the AR version of their songs is played, but this time the MR track was played instead.

The AR version of a song includes backup vocals and harmonized background vocals that allow the girls to focus more on their dance and performance rather than vocals, where as the MR version includes nothing but the instrumental track of the song.

Despite EXID’s initial confusion when the MR track started playing at the start of their performance, the girls quickly gathered their wits and continued to give a powerful, high quality, live performance. A video of their performance was posted on a humor forum, Humor University, and has since garnered over 1.2 million views.

Netizens have shown positive reactions and praise over EXID’s unintentional live performance, expressing admiration towards the girls for being able to deliver powerful vocals while intensely dancing to their tough choreography.

1. [+ 90, – 0] The rapper is trying so hard to cover up ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

2. [+ 47, – 0] It really isn’t that different from the recording

3. [+ 21, – 0] I was going ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ until I started feeling bad that she’s called the ‘rapper’

4. [+ 17, – 0] It shouldn’t be surprising that singers can do live performances~ but it’s hard to sing and do choreography at the same time especially if it’s so unexpected. Actually I heard the pay is different for live and lipsync performances. If this happened because the hosts made a mistake they may have had to pay extra..
