After School reveals lyric video for Japanese CM song “SHINE”

AvexNetwork has uploaded a lyric music video to coincide with the release of After School’s new CM song “SHINE”. The song will be used in commercials for the Japanese MARUKO TV.

For the making of the music video 58 people between the ages of 15 and 30 were gathered in places such as Niigata, Shibuya, and Harajuku. Together with member Jooyeon, they tried to convey the message that people need to fight in order to be able to shine.

“SHINE” is the girl group’s first lyric video, and is the first release since Dress to Kill, After School’s second full length album which was released last March. It will be available through iTunes and Rekochoku. After School is currently preparing for their upcoming “AFTERSCHOOL JAPAN TOUR 2014 -Dress to SHINE-” tour which will be taking off on November 21st.
