The cast and crew spent all night filming for the last episode of the series, marking the upcoming end to the hit drama.
On January 21, an insider from tvN‘s Goblin revealed they had been filming in Namyangju until 5:00 A.M., on top of filming for three consecutive days prior to that.
He also went on to say that the last few days of filming were some of the happiest times because the lead actors (Gong Yoo, Lee Dong Wook, and Kim Go Eun) were able to spend them together.
Just two days ago nobody but the script writer knew the ending of the story, showing that they took exceptional care in protecting it from any leaks. Now the whole cast and crew knows the ending, but they are still being extremely cautious so as to not spoil the ending for the fans.
The last episode of Goblin will air on January 21, but the cast and crew plan to meet again on January 22 to have a barbecue party and celebrate a successful ending to the show. On top of that, they also get to enjoy a paid vacation to Thailand in February, for their dedication and hard work on an amazing drama.
For fans that are upset at the upcoming end to Goblin there are good news; a special behind-the-scenes episode will air on February 3 and 4 and interviews of the cast will be released as well.
