Netizens seem to be unimpressed with IU‘s acting recently and has even gone as far as to call the actress’s makeup in Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo into question.
IU has been acting alongside various other actors including Lee Junki, Hong Jong Hyun and more in the SBS drama Scarlet Heart Ryeo. Since the airing of the drama, IU has come under fire by netizens and viewers alike for her alleged poor acting.
On the other hand, actress Kim Yoo Jung is currently in the period KBS2 drama Moonlight Drawn By Clouds featuring Park Bo Gum.
Both being in period dramas, the two actresses have come under fire for their seemingly heavy makeup with viewers noting that their makeup is much too heavy for a period drama. With IU, the complaints draw from her eyeliner while Kim Yoo Jung’s dark eye shadow was deemed too excessive for the time period.
