Recently, HYBE audited the head of ADOR’s style directing team for about five hours. In a phone interview with director A, they stated they were “scared because HYBE told me that I might have to go to the police because it was embezzlement and breach of trust.”

It was reported that while conducting the audit on May 9 for about five hours, they conducted the process illegally, even showing up at their house at night.

HYBE’s audit team raised the issue of stylist director A receiving pay from the advertiser. ADOR responded that freelancers are usually in charge of hair, makeup, and styling and have a separate contract between the advertiser and the freelancer. They added that ADOR’s styling team handles this, so they considered the fees paid by the advertisers when totaling A’s incentives.

ADOR claimed that this could not be embezzlement as no financial damage was caused to either party.

This was how I was paid at my previous company, and ADOR also approved of receiving it in exchange for incentives, so I didn’t know that something like this was happening. I was scared because they were talking about embezzlement and breach of trust.

They even showed up at A’s house at night.

“They said if I didn’t submit my laptop as evidence, I would have to go to the police. Around 10:30 PM, someone came to my house and took my laptop. They even asked for my phone, but I refused.

Afterwards, I took a taxi back to the office and was audited until midnight. I wrote a consent form, but after telling the ADOR lawyer about it, they said it was illegal and would withdraw it for me.

This is money I received by working my schedule, and not something I gave to Min Hee Jin. All I did was work hard, and I’m upset that all this is happening.”

Netizens were shocked at the news and couldn’t believe such a huge company would take things this far.
