CLIO Under Fire For Excluding Stray Kids’ Hyunjin In “All Member” Photo Card Set—Deletes Post

CLIO stated that it was “All Stray Kids Members.”

Back in February, after a significant amount of alleged bullying in the K-Pop world, CLIO Cosmetics decided to delete all of their pictures of Stray Kids promoting their products. In March, the brand decided to continue promotions with the group, excluding Hyunjin, the member who had an allegation.

Recently, CLIO Cosmetics has been under fire for excluding Hyunjin from a photo card set and mini mannequin set. The brand announced an event on their social media that would let fans receive a photo card or a mini mannequin with their purchase of a Stray Kids eye shadow palette.

Although fans were aware that CLIO was excluding Hyunjin from their promotions, the way the brand worded the prizes was the issue. As you can see, above the photo card set says, “You will receive 1 Photo Card (All SKZ Members).

Fans were, of course, upset as 7 members are not all of the members of Stray Kids. This caused many phrases to trend, such as “Stray Kids is 8” and “Hyunjin.”

The brand has since deleted the post and has not posted a new one nor made a statement yet.
