LE SSERAFIM Subtly Embraced Their Members’ Diverse Backgrounds In “ANTIFRAGILE” Album Trailer—Here’s How

It was a genius decision!

LE SSERAFIM is gearing up for the release of their second mini album, ANTIFRAGILE, and it’s looking to be one to watch out for! On September 26, their agency, SOURCE MUSIC, unveiled the album trailer for the first time.

Entitled “The Hydra,” the girls looked badass as they stepped out of a car…

…rode motorcycles…

…and strutted on a runway.

The confidence the “FEARLESS” members exuded was unmatched! And while all this was happening, they could be heard singing in the background.

Unlike typical K-Pop songs, however, this one was clearly different—they were speaking in three different languages.

This was only made possible because they come from diverse backgrounds. The group consists of two Japanese members (Sakura and Kazuha) and three Korean members (Yunjin, Chaewon, and Eunchae).

However, Yunjin was raised in America and speaks fluent English, making it possible for them to sing in English, Korean, and Japanese. It may have been a subtle detail, but it was one that really made an impact!

Furthermore, it gave them a different sound—a sound that is uniquely LE SSERAFIM. Not many groups have utilized their members’ multilingual skills in such an effective way.

Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM’s album is set to be released on October 17. Watch the full trailer below while waiting.
