PLAVE’s Agency Addresses Viral Accusations Of Plagiarising SEVENTEEN
PLAVE has found itself at the center of controversy as netizens debate whether the teaser poster for their upcoming mini-album bears too much resemblance to a previous design by SEVENTEEN.

On January 20, PLAVE released a teaser moving poster on their official social media accounts to promote their third mini-album, Caligo Part 1, scheduled for release on February 3. The poster’s design, featuring a black-and-white newspaper layout and a wanted poster theme, has drawn comparisons to the promotional poster for SEVENTEEN members Jeonghan and Wonwoo’s single “Bittersweet,” which was unveiled in June of last year.

Netizens online were quick to point out specific similarities, including the phrases used in both posters. PLAVE’s poster reads “Have You Seen This Boy?” while SEVENTEEN’s poster used “Have You Ever Seen This Man?” The discussion has since sparked debates among fans and netizens alike about whether the resemblance was intentional or coincidental.
