Korean Viewers Point Out “Fake” “Single’s Inferno 4” Couples Amongst Other Criticism

As we’ve reached almost the last quarter of Single’s Inferno 4, the couples are slowly forming and choices are becoming clear. With the 9th and 10th episode having aired on February 4, 2025, Korean viewers gathered on a community site to discuss their opinions on the show so far.

Unsurprisingly, most of the discourse were criticism. It seems like the couples and contestants for this season leave much to be desired. A popular criticism was how Tehwan and Jiyeon seemed to only be choosing each other for screen time.

Another comment called out Sian for her wishy-washy choosing.

Others wondered why the panelists seem to be biased against Youjin.

• No, but are Sian’s standards for men on the floor or something? Why is she considering between Jeongsu and Junseo, while throwing away Taeo? It’s fine about Jeongsu if we really must, but Junseo’s way of speaking is sh*t and also he looks like the beast in Beauty and The Beast.
• Am I the only one who thinks that the panelists have it in for Youjin? Even in episode 9 when she was in the car with Jeongsu making those sounds, they were acting so embarrassed for her. They’re making a fuss.
• Junseo’s way of speech is so bad. Is he here to make friends? He keeps going “-nya, -nya.” The way he calls people with “yah” is also giving me the ick.
• It’s legendarily boring this time. It’s so obvious how Tehwan and Jiyeon were are together just for the recognition and screentime. For Hyejin, Jonghoon is so charmless. Sian’s basically the female version of Kwanhee, but Junseo and Jeongsu are both bad. None of the cast are giving me butterflies. I’m at least a little interested in Dongho and Arin, but even them…
• IDK why Arin hates Haelin so much. It’s not like Dongho ever gave her a sure answer.
