Former Idol’s Abusive Behavior And Language Resurfaces As He Attempts New Entertainment Career

In 2010, the boy group TEEN TOP debuted under TOP Media, a label created by Andy Lee of SHINHWA.

The group gained considerable popularity and remained active despite contract terminations and L. Joe‘s departure. In 2023, the group planned to reunite as five for their first comeback in four years, but C.A.P., the group’s leader, was removed from the group.

C.A.P was removed after smoking and cursing during a live stream, which he claims was done purposely as he did not want to be an idol anymore. He would go on to expose the “dark side” of K-Pop in a documentary, mentioning his own experiences.

He was allegedly done with the entertainment industry, which has since been proven not to be true.

C.A.P is active on TikTok, where he goes live and is a “hobby rapper” according to his bio.

A viral TikTok discussing C.A.P and some of his past actions recently gained attention. In the video, a netizen discusses an instance where C.A.P caused his former groupmate, Niel, to require stitches after a fight.

The fight was caused by Niel asking for a hair dryer while C.A.P was using it to dry his feet.

Other commenters brought up that C.A.P is active now on TikTok, and mentioned previous statements by the idol considered to be misogynistic.
