How Song Joong Ki And Katy Louise Saunders Navigated Culture Differences During Their Pregnancy

Song Joong Ki spoke about his wife in a rare interview.

Song Joong Ki attended the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, met with Korean news outlets and spoke honestly about his wife. There, he revealed that his wife, Katy Louise Saunders, was a great help to him at the festival.

My wife, although she is a retired actress now, had attended the [Cannes Film Festival] several times when she was an actress. She told me where the Lumière Theatre was as well as her past experiences at the festival.

The actor then revealed the differences in cultures when it came to pregnancies. Whereas in Korea, pregnant women are encouraged to rest and be still, the actor revealed that in the West, pregnant women are encouraged to move around.

The West has a different culture when it comes to pregnancies. They are encouraged to walk, hike, and exercise a lot. Although the Cannes Film Festival is important, to be honest, all of my focus is on her. I have to take care of her while promoting the movie and after.
