Park Seo Joon Unexpectedly Spotted Beside Son Heung Min Amid High-Profile Blackmail Scandal
Actor Park Seo Joon‘s recent interaction with the Korean soccer star Son Heung Min has taken the internet by storm amid the latter’s ongoing blackmail scandal.
On May 22, KST, Tottenham Hotspur captain Son Heung Min achieved a major career milestone by bagging his first major club trophy by winning the 2024-25 UEFA Europa League. It is also the club’s first silverware in seventeen long years.
When the game concluded, Son was caught in an extremely emotional moment, shedding tears as he became the first Tottenham skipper to lift a European trophy in 40 years. The soccer star was unexpectedly joined by Park Seo Joon during this celebratory moment.

While Park’s appearance at the game has left many fans bewildered, it is known that the two go way back. In his 2019 documentary Sonsetional, Son Heung Min had spoken fondly of the K-Drama star, stating that he was always on Son’s side, no matter what.
Park Seo Joon’s public appearance at Son’s game has become even more significant due to the current circumstances of the Tottenham captain. He is currently the center of a blackmail scandal involving a woman who claimed to be pregnant with his child and tried to extort ₩300 million KRW (about $218,000 USD) from him in 2023. Son reportedly made the payment before she had an abortion. The woman’s new partner demanded ₩70.0 million KRW (about $50,900 USD) in 2025, which he refused, leading to the story getting leaked.
