There may be people who are the perfect fit for being an idol due to their talent and visuals, but they don’t pursue the idol life.

Instead, it’s more popular to become a social media influencer.

There are other factors that make it difficult to recruit the new generation, including winning over the trust of their parents.

Gen Alpha has a different mindset than previous generations.

They have to be really convinced in order to sign up for the idol life.

Meanwhile, Jaejoong shares how previous generations cared so deeply about following every rule as to not get kicked out and risk their chance of debuting.

Kids also no longer go to festivals and events to showcase their skills.

It seems they may not show the same drive to pursue the idol life as previous generations.
