3rd Generation Girl Group Member Directly Addresses Allegations Of Discord Within Group

BB Girls‘ Minyoung has spoken out about the persistent rumors of discord surrounding the group’s former member Yujeong, offering clarity on the group’s current dynamic and past events.

In a YouTube video on One Make‘s channel on June 16, 2025, Minyoung opened up about the situation that has fueled speculation among fans since Yujeong’s unexpected exit. BB Girls, formerly Brave Girls, re-debuted in 2023 under a new agency. However, Yujeong departed from the group later that year, leading the group to continue as a three-member act.

Addressing rumors that the group had a falling out, Minyoung explained that a holiday trip taken by the remaining members that had led to the misunderstanding.

“The three of us went to a place called Bohol right around the time Yujeong left. Some people saw the photos and misunderstood, thinking it reflected internal conflict. Internally, we had already reached a degree of closure, but it wasn’t something we could publicly explain at the time.”

She went on to clarify that the trip had been planned well in advance.

“I had been organizing the trip for a month. During that time, Yujeong made her decision to leave, and as a result, only the three of us ended up going.”

Minyoung also acknowledged her emotional response to Yujeong’s sudden departure and expressed her hopes for the group to last.

“It was unexpected. I remember asking, ‘Why? We don’t have any problems.’ But after spending ten years together, it’s natural that we each had our own thoughts. We chose to respect hers and support her decision. BB Girls is a group that was given a second chance by the public. Rather than chasing achievements, we want to live up to the expectations placed on us. No matter the challenges, we aim to be a group that lasts.”
