BTS’s RM Spotted Swearing At Jin’s Solo Concert—Understandably

There’s no audio, but fans could immediately tell what he said!

Since 2022, Seoul and other cities in South Korea have been battling the attack of the “lovebugs” each summer. Every year around June, these bugs rise from the mountains and quite literally take over the city.

While considered otherwise harmless, these paired-at-the-tail bugs appear in unfathomable numbers and often leave people in panic and disgust—BTS‘s RM is no exception.

On June 28, 2025 (KST), BTS members were spotted supporting their Jin hyung at his first-ever solo world tour concert that kicked off in Goyang. As one camera zooms in on the pair, RM notices something on his arm…

…and blurts out something.

There’s no audio, but fans—Korean and non-Korean—could immediately tell what he said!

  • “That’s shibal for sure, LOL.”
  • “HAHA. I love his reaction.”
  • “Oh, shibal. LOL. I mean, I would’ve cursed right then and there, too.”
  • “Hahaha. He meant that shibal. So funny.”
  • SHIBAL! LOL.”
  • “Understandably. Anyone would curse.”
  • “The way his lips read exactly shi-bal. LMAO.”
  • “HAHAHA. Kim Namjoon is so f*cking hilarious.”

As for the bug-pocalypse, they only live for about a week. Korean public health center officials emphasized, “Since lovebugs naturally disappear within about two weeks after a mass outbreak, it is better to respond with eco-friendly and practical methods rather than excessive use of pesticides.”

So… Hang in there, RM!
