Popular Disbanded Group Reunites After 7 Years Without One Member, Surfacing Multiple Scandals

They originally disbanded in 2018.

In 2017, the second season of Produce 101 aired, featuring male trainees instead of females like the first season.

As many know, the top trainees would go on to debut as WANNA ONE, a group that has remained a topic to this day.

However, after the show ended, and due to the popularity of many trainees, offshoot groups began to form. One such group was JBJ, consisting of trainees who ranked from 11th to 20th place.

The group was also temporary, and after 7 months disbanded, with the members going their separate ways. Some made solo debuts, while others like Kenta and Sanggyun debuted as JBJ95 (now known as KENTA SANGGYUN).

On July 12, it was revealed that several group members had reunited for a special collaboration single. Titled “Dummy Dummy,” the single was released by Taehyun and features Kenta, Sanggyun, Donghan, and Hyunbin.

Fans were thrilled to see the group back together in this way, but could not help but wonder where member Longguo (previously known as Yongguk) was.

After the group ended activities, Longguo was involved in multiple scandals including one involving abandoning his cat. He was also criticized for posts on a private account that seemed to mock fans.

Fans seem to believe this is why he was not involved in this unexpected reunion, though there are mixed feelings about his status as a group member and any possible involvement.
