These rumors were fueled by supposed leaks of the alleged couple together by a user named Gurumiharibo, which included photos of them on a vacation and inside V’s apartment. Many pushed back against these images, claiming they were created through Photoshop.

However, the biggest reveal came from an alleged spotting of the pair holding hands walking through the streets of Paris together, supposedly on a date. The clip was supported by evidence of what the two idols were wearing during the day.

The poster of the video, a Paris-based photographer named Amar Taoualit, claimed to have seen the two together by accident, and was criticized over his reasoning. Taoualit is now facing criticism again connected to the alleged couple.

BTS’s V recently spent time in Paris for the city’s Fashion Week event as an ambassador for Celine. Due to his fame, the idols comings and goings were often documented by paparazzi, including Taoualit.
