The comment sparked immense backlash from Carats (SEVENTEEN fans) who found it inappropriate to compare fans of two different groups.

Many felt that comment could have easily praised ARMYs without dragging another fandom into it.

Additionally, a viral inaccurate auto-translation of the comment has also gained attention, leading many to believe MagentaMusik was comparing the behavior of the two groups of fans.

Some interpreted this as a reference to the chaos that occurred during SEVENTEEN’s 2024 set due to the festival’s improper planning. This misinterpretation of the comment only added fuel to the online firestorm.

Following all of this, the company went private on X, leaving many Carats even more frustrated with their lack of accountability.
