BTS’s Jin Hits Back At Post Seen As Seemingly Shading Other Members
BTS‘s Jin has gained attention after responding to an edit which was seen as seemingly shading the other members.
Since being discharged from the military, Jin has been attracting sponsorships and deals, with the most recent announcement being that he has become the brand model for Dongwon Tuna canned tuna. Following the announcement, a fan shared all of the idol’s achievements in a post on Weverse.
Another fan then shared an edit showing all the members’ ambassadorship and deals, but in the past, these kind of pictures have been used to compare and shade idols, although the ARMY probably meant no harm.
Jin saw the post and responded, making it clear that the number of ads or deals each member has is their own choice.
Ah.. I just did a lot of them, but the others have dozens or even hundreds of ad offers too.
They’re just choosing not to do them.
Because I’ve turned down more than dozens myself…I think I won’t be taking on more (though if something I really like suddenly comes up, I might change my mind).

Although the OP probably meant no harm, netizens loved how Jin was quick to promote his members and emphasize that they have less because they haven’t been asked but rather the control and freedom each member has in picking their own offers.
