On July 22, the group held a livestream on Weverse to celebrate this release and talk about the behind-the-scenes process that went into making it. During the broadcast, the members revealed that they had run into an emergency situation regarding the title track, which was eventually solved by Yeonjun.

The members recalled having difficulties in finding the right choreography for “Beautiful Stranger,” to the point where their label had to send out an SOS for it. It was in this situation that the company also approached Yeonjun to try his hand at choreographing the song, and he agreed to give it a go.

Yeonjun revealed that he made the choreography and sent it to the label the very next day. The company approved it within just two days, which Kai noted was a huge deal since no other choreography submitted for the song was able to get a green flag from the creatives.

As it turns out, around 80% of the final choreography of “Beautiful Strangers” was completely Yeonjun’s own, including the three distinct dance breaks and the chorus part.

Fans couldn’t be prouder of Yeonjun’s relentless hard work and his ability to outgrow himself.
