Popular K-Drama Actress Reveals Her Divorce, Shows Off Two Handsome Sons For The First Time

Actress Kim Kum Soon (also known as Kim Geum Soon), best known for her supporting roles in fan-favorite K-Dramas like When Life Gives You Tangerines and Squid Game, showed off her two handsome sons in the most recent episode of KBS‘s Stars’ Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant.

The episode first revealed that the veteran actress—who has had an impressive 30-year career and is now endearingly nicknamed “Jenny’s Mom” for her most unforgettable character in When Life Gives You Tangerines—was nominated for the “Best Actress” award at the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards.

It then captured her oldest son, Yong Tae Doo, making a surprise appearance with a bouquet and a special trunk event to congratulate his mother.

Kim Kum Soon revealed that she met her ex-husband in Brazil, where she married and had children. But she has since gotten divorced and is now living with Tae Doo, while her younger son, Yong Tae Sung, is studying abroad in the U.S.

When the show hosts marveled over how sweet and affectionate Tae Doo is with her, the actress agreed, “Yes, we’re best friends.” And viewers can’t get enough of such a beautiful mother-son relationship!
