Popular Girl Group Member Breaks Up With Longterm Boyfriend

Ladies’ Code’s Ashley has opened up about her emotional state following a breakup with her boyfriend of six years, whom she had been living with.

In a recent video titled “(Living) Alone Again” posted on her personal YouTube channel, Ashley revealed that she had broken up.

“I broke up with my boyfriend of six years and moved out. It was so hard being in Korea that I went to New York.”

The breakup hit harder than she expected.

“It didn’t feel real. It felt like something that was happening to someone else. My mom told me, ‘Why don’t you come to New York, spend some time with family and friends to recover, and then look for a new place in Korea after you’ve healed?’”

She ended up leaving her belongings behind in Korea and flew to New York to focus on her mental well-being. Ashley revealed that it had actually been two months, but she was still recovering.

“It was my first time breaking up with someone I lived with. At the time, it felt like my life was over. It’s been two months now, and I’m still recovering. How can anyone fully bounce back just like that? But just because a relationship ends doesn’t mean you’re a failure. I gave it my all, so I have no regrets.”

Ashley debuted in 2013 as a member of the girl group Ladies’ Code.
