The latest video on singer-songwriter Jung Jae Hyung‘s YouTube channel featured the aespa member as a guest. As Karina stepped into Jung’s home, the video documented the two stars’ first meeting. Notably, she is the youngest guest to ever appear on the veteran artist’s channel.
Despite her young age, Karina showed her thoughtfulness by showing up with both hands full of gifts for the host. She presented Jung with a red shopping bag, saying that she brought him a special gift after hearing he was planning to build a minibar at his place. She also brought separate gifts for Jung’s pet dog.
As Jung opened the box, he was touched to see a beautiful champagne glass inside. He commended Karina’s taste, saying he actually wanted a low-stemmed glass like that for his minibar. Karina responded, saying she went for something she knew would suit his preference.
The champagne glass Karina gifted to Jung was the Rohan Flute from the popular French luxury crystal brand called Baccarat. The particular piece retails for about ₩500,000 KRW (about $359 USD) each.
The luxury item immediately caught the attention of netizens who praised Karina’s luxurious taste and thoughtfulness toward the host. After the episode’s release, the item got sold out quickly, showcasing the aespa’s member’s dominating brand power.
