Popular K-Pop Group Goes Viral For Only Allowing Koreans To An Event

What do you think of this guideline?

Recently, K-Pop idol group TXT posted a notice on how fans could participate in the 80th anniversary of the National Liberation Day of Korea <We Are The Light> event that will be held on August 14.

The event will take place at Gwanghwamun Square at the Garden of Time, and 50 participants will be selected for the recording.

While fans were reading the guidelines, they discovered something interesting under the event notes section.

Please note that only Korean nationals can win and participate in this performance.

Because it is an important holiday in Korea commemorating the day the country was liberated from Japanese colonial rule, fans agreed that it was only right to allow only Korean nationals to attend the event.

This is how it should be since it’s liberation day. It’s only right to have only Koreans attend.

I love this idea! I’m not a fan, but it’s been a while since I’ve seen an event that only allows Koreans…

I wish all K-Pop events in Korea would do this…

I wish they would continue to do this for all events this year.

Wow, this is such a great system…
