IU Reveals That Her Everyday Summer Wardrobe Was Decided By Park Bo Gum
Idol-actress IU recently shared that her When Life Gives You Tangerines co-star Park Bo Gum was the one who decided her summer wardrobe.
Recently, IU released a new vlog on her YouTube channel, where she showed up to support Park during a fan meeting event. The actor had prepared various gifts for her, including a cake, a hat, and the official lightsticks of both his own and IU’s fandom. IU was touched by the handwritten card as well and praised Park Bo Gum for his attention to detail.
While discussing the gifts, IU revealed that she had previously received another personal item as a gift from Park Bo Gum that ended up becoming her summer staple—a light blue checkered shirt.
IU recalled, “I wore it all summer long,” adding that she wore it so often that even her staff started to notice it. In fact, since she is in the process of moving houses, that shirt is one of the only two clothing items she has left at her current home.
I’ve been preparing to move for two years. I’m almost ready now. I moved all my stuff into my new house. I only have two outfits at home! The plaid shirt Bo Gum got me and another plaid shirt. So I wore it when I went to record ‘Cantabile’, and I think I wore that to the Blue Dragon Series Awards as well.

“I kept them because I like them,” the singer admitted.
IU then concluded the story by saying that even though she hadn’t opened Park Bo Gum’s new gifts, she was sure that the hat would be added to her everyday outfit list right away, showing her blind trust in the actor’s sense of style.
