In the latest episode of SBS‘s Dolsing Fourmen, RAINBOW member Cho Hyunyoung poked fun at how romantic relationships can be so detrimental to Korean celebrities, mentioning her past dating scandal.

Noting that her relationship ended a while back, Cho Hyunyoung pointed out that it keeps resurfacing because of her fellow RAINBOW member, Go Woori.
Cho Hyunyoung: My public relationship was so long ago that many people don’t even know about it anymore. But because of my unnie, it keeps getting dug back up. I really can’t stand it.
Go Woori: In an interview once, they asked how I got close with Cho Hyunyoung, so I just said, ‘Back then we all had fun together with that oppa, and that’s how we became close.’ That’s all.
No names were mentioned. But when Go Woori went on to add that she still keeps in touch with the said oppa and sent him a message about his radio program, it became clear that the conversation was about Cho Hyunyoung’s singer ex-boyfriend, Clazziquai‘s Alex.

To the show host, Tak Jae Hoon, asking if it was a bad breakup, Cho Hyunyoung clarified that she and Alex ended things on good terms…
Cho Hyunyoung: It was honestly a really good memory.
Go Woori: If they had broken up badly, we wouldn’t even be able to talk about it like this.
…but the relationship did have negative impact on her life.
At the time those dating rumors came out, my career was just starting to rise. I felt like my career collapsed because the news broke right when things were looking good for me. That part was tough, but as for him, we ended things on good terms.
