Alleged school bullying victim “A” has returned to Korea at their own expense to take legal action against actress Song Hayoon.

In the fourth statement released on August 25, “A” explained the details of the email exchanges with actress Song Hayoon’s agency.

I had no intention of making this into a dispute from the beginning. After the third statement, I suggested to her law firm that we cease all legal action and resolve the matter with dignity.

This was her final act of goodwill and a proposal for an honorable exit.

There was also conflict regarding the expenses related to entering Korea. After booking a premium economy flight out of pocket, “A” agreed to accept Song Hayoon’s offer, which stated that they would pay for the flight up to 1,200,00 KRW ($~865.82 USD) and accommodations up to 300,000 KRW ($~216.45 USD) for a three-night stay.

However, Song’s side notified us that they considered a rental car as “personal use” and excluded it from the settlement. They also stated that only a portion of the total stay expenses would be settled within a set amount.

“I will prepay all expenses, including airfare, lodging, and transportation, and settle all expenses in full upon arrival. Future related costs will be handled through separate legal procedures.

Song Hayoong’s side represented it as paying 100% of the total, but in reality, it is only a partial settlement within a limited scope. Even with simple calculations, I will have to bear at least six times more than Song Hayoon’s limited support.”

“A,” who is currently residing in Korea, declared that they would file a complaint and publicize the institutional cover-up of this case.

They also revealed that they are responding against the Office of Education and Banpo High School and “preparing to file a total damages claim of ₩10.0 billion KRW (about $7.22 million USD).”

Lastly, “A” concluded by expressing that this is not a fight for personal revenge, but a response to judicial order and to protect the public interest.

Previously, Song Hayoon filed an additional complaint against “A” last month, charging them with defamation.
