10+ Times BTS Jimin’s Alleged Girlfriend, Song Da Eun, Dropped “Hints” On Social Media 

Actress Song Da Eun‘s recently posted (and now deleted) video has rekindled dating rumors about her and BTS‘s Jimin. However, this is far from the first time Song has been accused of hinting at having a romantic relationship with the idol. Here are 10+ of Song’s social media posts that ignited rumors.

1. Song Da Eun’s 2022 Instagram Activity

In July of 2022, an anonymous netizen made a now-deleted post on the popular forum Pann Nate that included 12 pieces of so-called “evidence” that Jimin was dating Song Da Eun. The “evidence” included some of Song’s Instagram posts and stories.

For example, on July 8, 2022, Song and Jimin posted Instagram stories four minutes apart…

…and Song posted a story of her attending the same soccer game Jimin attended in June. The game took place on her birthday, June 14.

In a story, Song posted a clip from Allied, a movie that Jimin had recommended on Weverse.

The actress also posted a photo of herself holding peonies, which, on its own, doesn’t seem to have anything to do with the BTS star. But, in a questionnaire, Jimin was asked what he wanted to do in his spare time. He said he would like to plant peonies and rubber trees, which are two plants Song seems to like.

In an Instagram story, Song was asked if she liked dogs or cats, and she answered “Gangyangee.” Jimin mentioned that he wanted to give the name “Gangyangee” to his future pet, which is a combination of the Korean words for puppy (gangaji) and cat (goyangi).

 

In an Instagram Q&A session, Song highlighted the date, October 13, which is Jimin’s birthday.

She also updated her Instagram story on the last day of BTS’s concert at Jamsil Olympic Stadium at a hotel restaurant in Jamsil.

 

After opening a coffee shop, Song posted a photo of the building on Instagram. It has 5 in the name, and at the time some netizens suspected this was a reference to Jimin, who is number 5 among the BTS members. Song also included a purple heart in the caption; purple is BTS’s color.

Additionally, Song posted photos of herself wearing the same necklace that Jimin had also worn, leading to speculation that it was a couple item.

In 2023, Song denied being in a relationship with Jimin.

2. Song Da Eun’s 2024 Instagram Activity

Last May, Song Da Eun received backlash for allegedly hinting at a relationship with Jimin again, two years after netizens began to gather “evidence.” On May 16, 2024, Song shared a video of someone walking…

…and netizens quickly noticed how similar it was to a picture of Jimin that BTS’s V had posted in 2021.

In the next video, Song wore a shirt that read “MIC DROP,” the title of BTS’s song, “MIC Drop”…

…and she posted a video with a yellow ball or balloon that many ARMYs might find familiar.

Song’s last video showed her dog playing in an apartment…

…that looked very similar to photos of Jimin’s apartment that appeared in a BTS documentary.

One posted-then-deleted photo in particular caught netizens’ attention: a pair of cases with her and Jimin’s names on them.

3. Song Da Eun’s 2025 Social Media Activity

In August 2025, Song posted a video on TikTok of herself leaving her apartment and rushing to an elevator where she waited for it to come to her floor.

Jimin was allegedly waiting inside the elevator. The pair then walked from the elevator towards Song’s apartment. Some netizens have speculated that the video was taken in 2020, based on Jimin’s fashion and visuals.
