Former Girl Group Member Divorces Famous Webtoon Author Husband
Park Tae Joon, a webtoon artist who first rose to fame through Ulzzang Generation, has divorced former girl group member Choi Soojung.
According to a Sports Seoul report on August 28, 2025, it was confirmed that Park and Choi finalized their divorce last year. A close acquaintance of the couple stated, “Park Tae Joon and Choi Soojung have settled their divorce through mutual agreement.” Despite repeated attempts, Sports Seoul was unable to reach Park for comment.
The two ended their marriage after about four years. They had gone public with their relationship when they tied the knot in 2020, following a long period of dating. At the time, Park revealed their marriage registration on MBC’s Radio Star and officially acknowledged Choi as his wife.

“I didn’t tell anyone. Since childhood, I never really understood wedding ceremonies. I was worried because I don’t have many friends to fill a hall. We dated for 10 years. It feels like living with a friend. My wife calls me her ‘best friend.’”
Park first gained public recognition as an ulzzang when he appeared on Comedy TV’s reality show Ulzzang Generation in 2009. He later appeared in several variety programs, including Ulzzang TV, Flower Boy Corporation, and Gourmet Road, further building his name in the entertainment industry. He eventually transitioned to webtoons, creating massive hits on Naver such as Lookism, How to Fight, and Manager Kim.
He currently runs The Gram Entertainment (also known as Park Tae Joon Comics Company), a webtoon production studio, and is also known as a building owner with three properties. The company produces several popular Naver webtoons, including Lookism, How to Fight, and Manager Kim.
Choi Soojung debuted in 2010 as a member of the Korea-China joint girl group Lotte Girls.

In 2018, she appeared in the web drama Check, Mate. She also co-starred alongside Park in the music video for Ram’s I Might Die Like This. Notably, she appeared on MBC’s I Live Alone in 2019 as the close friend of MAMAMOO’s Hwasa, revealing that their friendship dated back to trainee days.
