Popular Idol Wrapped Up In Dating Rumors As Masked Up Photos Go Viral

F.T. ISLAND’s Lee Hong Ki has sparked fresh dating rumors after being spotted at a professional golf tournament, where he was seen closely supporting KLPGA player Park So Hye.

Despite his best efforts to stay under the radar, photos and clips of the two together have quickly gone viral.

Lee Hong Ki attended the second round of the KB Financial Star Championship held at Blackstone Icheon Golf Club earlier this week. Park So Hye teed off at 7:56 AM and reports shared that the idol had already arrived early in the morning to watch her play.

What caught the attention of fans was the entry pass around his neck — registered under Park So Hye’s name with the label “Family.”

Tournament staff noted that this wasn’t the first time he had come to cheer her on. Although he wore a bucket hat, sunglasses, and a mask, he was still recognizable thanks to his eyes and his trademark tattoos.

Throughout the round, cameras captured him chatting with Park So Hye as they walked together. At one point, he was even seen holding a handheld fan to help her cool down, only to quickly put it away after noticing he was being filmed.

Tournament staff were overheard questioning the situation, with comments like, “What kind of connection do they even have?” and “They seem too affectionate for it to just be fan support.”

Lee Hong Ki has previously been the subject of dating rumors, most notably with Japanese model Shinozaki Ai. At the time, he clarified that they were not dating and dismissed further speculation by calling her simply a “friend.”
