Jo’s mother made a detailed post on social media, talking about the incident that occurred last year during the filming of the SBS K-Drama, Queen Mantis. She recalled that her six-year-old son had gotten very excited after seeing the ocean and ran into the water when the waves surged unexpectedly, almost sweeping him away. At that very moment, Go Hyun Jung acted fast and saved him.

At that moment, actress Go Hyung Jung came running like lightning and saved him, holding him tightly in her arms. Her costume got completely soaked. She threw her whole body in to save him.
