Kim Jong Kook’s Wedding Guest List Shocks With Exclusion Of Close Friends

He did not invite some co-stars.

Singer Kim Jong Kook personally revealed the guest list for his wedding. On September 11, he uploaded a video on his YouTube channel Gym Jong Kook. The clip showed him announcing his marriage to close friends.

In the video, Kim informed longtime colleagues and close acquaintances either by phone or in person—just two weeks before the ceremony. During the filming of SBS’s Running Man, Kim surprised Yoo Jae Suk, Ji Suk Jin, Song Ji Hyo, Haha, Yang Se Chan, and PD Choi Hyung In with the news before recording started. However, cast member Ji Ye Eun and semi-regular Choi Daniel were not included on the guest list. Former members Lee Kwang Soo and Jeon So Min also did not make the cut.

From SBS’s My Little Old Boy, Seo Jang Hoon received the news via phone call, while from KBS2’s Problem Child in House, Joo Woo Jae heard through a video call. Other invitees included  Kang Hoon from Running Man, Tiger FC’s Shorry, and Jonathan.

Kim’s closest celebrity friends—the “Dragon Club” members Jang Hyuk, Cha Tae Hyun, and Hong Kyung Min were also informed by video call. Regular workout buddies, his manager, stylist, and lawyer Park Min Chul were on the list as well. Previously, on Problem Child in House, Kim shared that he was finalizing the wedding invites and planned to keep the event very small. True to his word, only select members like Joo Woo Jae and Yang Se Chan were invited, while others were not, drawing attention.

Kim Jong Kook tied the knot on September 5 with a younger non-celebrity bride.
