Idol-Turned-Actor Apologizes To Former Girlfriends On Variety Show
Popular idol-turned-actor Lee Junyeong of When Life Gives You Tangerines and Weak Hero Class 2 fame recently talked about why he felt guilty toward his former partners.

On the September 15 episode of the web variety show, Go So Young’s Pubstaurant, Lee Junyoung appeared as a guest and introduced his upcoming debut solo mini album, LAST DANCE.

While talking about the making process, Lee mentioned that though he usually writes and composes all his own songs, for this album, he only did the lyrics. When the host, Go So Young, requested him to sing his new song, he obliged by giving a brief sneak peek with live vocals.
Go praised his vocals, saying hearing him live made her heart “skip a beat.” However, she seemed to be more drawn to the lyrics, noting that they seemed way too personal.
Lee Junyoung responded, confessing that it was indeed related to his past relationships.
I’ve had some relationships… but I really regret them. I spent too much time being absorbed in myself.
— Lee Junyoung
The actor explained that in his younger years, he was highly ambitious and hence spent a lot of time on self-development. However, that came in the way of his relationships. “That’s something I feel sorry about toward the people I dated before,” he confessed.

I regret not being able to pay attention to the other person because I was so focused on my own work…
