K-Drama Staring Popular Actress Plummets To 0% Rating, Forced To Change Time Slot

The series is doing well on streaming platforms.

Confidence Queen, starring Park Min Young, Park Hee Soon, and Joo Jong Hyuk, tells the story of con artists who devise elaborate schemes to expose greedy individuals in the real estate and financial sectors.

The series is an adaptation of the Japanese series Confidence Man JP, which was a hit when it aired in 2018.

The series is Amazon Prime’s first original series. Following the first two episodes, it ranked 9th on the platform’s worldwide TV show rankings. By September 12th, it had risen to 5th place, ranking well against all programs worldwide.

The show also airs on Chosun TV, where reception has been decisively different.

As a result, the show has been moved from its time slot of 9:10 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., seemingly to avoid scheduling conflicts with popular series Bon Appétit, Your Majesty and Queen Mantis.
