BLACKPINK’s Rosé Embroiled In Controversy After Being Asked About Members Being “Jealous”
BLACKPINK‘s Rosé sparks controversy after being asked a problematic question about her members.
Recently, Rosé appeared on The Howard Stern Show.
During the show, the host sparked controversy by asking the idol, “Do you think they [the members] are jealous of your success?” Despite the awkward question, Rosé answered it in a way that shared love for her members and how they are supportive because they are all following the same journey of pursuing solo activities.
Not at all, I think, no, no, because I think we all know, we all are kind of doing this simultaneously from the group and going on to solo. We kind of all understand how much work went behind this kind of being independent, so every time, we just bond about all of our experiences and stuff, so it’s really wholesome and stuff. They always check in on me, I love them, they’re like my family and sisters.

Yet, many fans defended the idol, explaining that the host gave her an awful question that he knew would stir controversy but that Rosé handled it perfectly and the accusations of her being a “mean girl” were wrong.
