Idol-Turned-Actress To Star In Upcoming K-Drama Titled “Titty,” Backlash Ferocious

On September 11, 2025 (KST), it was reported that Park Chorong of Apink is making her comeback as an actress after three years. Her agency, WithUs Entertainment, announced that the idol-turned-actress will “appear in the B-grade comedy K-Drama, ‘Advertisement Agency: CHICHI’ Season 2 – The Temperature of Advertising.”

Advertisement Agency: CHICHI is a drama based on the Instagram webtoon The Butcher Shop’s 2nd Floor Office Season 1. The series received an enthusiastic response and ranked second in the comedy-drama category on Wavve…In Season 2, Park Chorong joins as Min Joo, a key figure who mediates within the CHICHI team, bringing fresh energy to the story.

While any casting news is good news for fans who have been waiting for Park Chorong’s return to the screens, the basis of the K-Drama she has chosen is now stirring up the internet.

Through pre-seed investment, the three musketeers (Yong Sik, Su Hyun, and Yeon Woo) had been developing an AI-based application. But when they failed to secure Series A funding, they suddenly became ‘unemployed.’ Forced to leave behind the glittering high-end co-working office they had dreamed of, they moved into a small, shabby container. After much deliberation, the three decide to abandon their startup and each pursue their own path (getting jobs). Yet for now, they kill time in the container together.

Without thinking much of it, Su Hyun uploads a silly B-grade video of Yong Sik to YouTube. Within just a week, the video racks up 3 million views and 900,000 subscribers. With their sudden viral hit, the three are flooded with ad inquiries by phone and email. They end up forming a full-fledged advertising agency called ‘Jjijji.’

In particular, the Korean title—Jji-jji instead of CHICHI—is leaving netizens baffled and disgusted. Jji-jji means breasts, closer to how “titties” are used in English. Some tweets, expressing their shock at the title, set off a chain of scathing reactions.
