BIGBANG‘s Daesung is being praised after a story was revealed of his reaction to an underage female idol texting him.

The recent guest on Daesung’s show was KARA member Youngji.

During the video, a past headline appeared where it was revealed that Daesung had ignored a text from Youngji. The idol revealed that they weren’t really texting…

But that she had gotten Daesung’s number from a friend, a detail he had forgotten because he thought they had exchanged numbers during a schedule.

After explaining that she sent him a text, she hilariously pointed out, “I never got a reply…”

Daesung shared that around that time, when the idol would have been a minor, around 14 or 15 years old, there were a lot of spam messages.

While Jiyoung wasn’t expecting a message back, she seemingly poured a lot of heart into the text.

Daesung apologized.

Even adding that he did read it, just didn’t reply.

Youngji then shared that her members pointed out that the lack of reply was probably due to her age, with Daesung adding that because they were both just gaining fame, they had to be careful.

The clip quickly went viral.

While some fans shared it was the bare minimum, others praised Daesung, particularly pointing out the actions of former BIGBANG member Seungri.
