ZEROBASEONE’s Matthew has officially addressed an allegation that recently stirred online communities — claims that he had “contoured” or shaded his chest area for performances.
Speculation started after close-up photos and fan-taken videos from a recent stage made his upper body appear more defined. A fan suggested that makeup had been applied to enhance his chest.

It seemed like he saw the post on X, for he addressed the matter on a fan-messaging platform immediately.
Even during his next live stream a few days after, he brought it up again. He clarified that he didn’t use any makeup to shape or shade his chest.
