On October 2, KST NCT WISH members attended a fansign event in Shanghai where they interacted with fans in person. During one of these interactions, a fan asked Sion if he could do the “Killin’ It Girl” dance challenge, originally performed by BTS’s J-Hope.

Sion responded, saying that he wanted to do it badly, but couldn’t because of their company. However, he ended up doing the dance very briefly.

Sion implying that he couldn’t do the dance challenge because his label would not allow him has ticked many fans off the wrong way, prompting them to bring up the alleged bad blood SM Entertainment has had toward BTS in the past. Some also found the situation silly and joked about it lightheartedly.
